Most sites contain an existing dwelling which you have the opportunity, with the appropriate approvals, to renovate or remove to build something better.
Each site has underground services for power, telephone, MATV, water and sewerage. Each has recently been upgraded with the installation of a sewerage holding tank and the power has been taken from the site’s connection point to a meter box. The power has also been connected to the holding tank. The power to the meter box is three-phase and you can choose, if you desire, to run three or single-phase power to any new dwelling or existing dwelling.
The power meter box is positioned near the access road for easy access and for the safe isolation of the power from the dwelling in the event of fire. The holding tank is also positioned as near as possible to the access road to maximize the use of the site for building purposes.
The improvements remain on the site in the event of any cessation of the lease.

About Bowhill
Bowhill is situated in the Mid Murray Council. The small country centre contains:

- a large timber wharf recently constructed on the basis of the historic wharf which was previously located in Bowhill during the early river days,
- a significant boat ramp recently renovated by the Council to accommodate more recent river levels,
- a playground and picnic area and an electric barbecue and shelter,
- a modern and spacious community centre and neighbouring tennis courts,
- a Country Fire Service facility and brigade, and
- a worship centre for the local Lutheran Church.
